About

Creative Detachment is the independent label for personal works created by musician/artist/photographer & playwright Andy Alexanda – the writer, composer & director of Sunset & Pastel Skies.

The name derives itself from Andy’s use of creativity to detach himself from previous trauma. As a survivor of male domestic abuse he uses his own experiences and feelings to create artistic works with emotion and knowledge that enlighten and entertain.

Although he has many years experience in the creative industry, Sunset & Pastel Skies is the first ever musical podcast/audio drama he has written.

If you have been affected by domestic abuse, help can be found with the following organisations:

GOV.UK – Domestic Abuse

Domestic Abuse Helpline for men

NHS Domestic Abuse

Mankind

Andy would like to thank the following organisations for their help & support:

The Paul Lavelle Foundation
